One thing I notice about the internet is the fact that most people use it as a highlight reel to only show off the wins. This creates a false narrative of the perfect life, and unsurprisingly, we rarely hear about the failures. I appreciate that this newsletter is different from social media in that it allows me to provide context. It’s not just a portrait of a perfect trip; I can talk about the things I have learned on the way and all of the stuff that didn’t go as planned. So today I will share some of my recent dumb decisions.
