Kauai Travel Guide

There aren’t many places I feel comfortable covering with a full travel guide, but Kauai is an exception. My credentials: I’ve been lucky to go dozens of times and have spent extended periods of time on the island. We got married there, have visited as people with free time and also as parents. So all of that to say that I have this island scoped out at this point.

Hawaii is a wonderful place with incredible natural beauty, beautiful culture and a simple way of life. Disclaimer: I’m not saying that I am a local or part of that culture, but I have been there enough to know what’s worth seeing and what’s not.

Depending on your objective Kauai is a place where there’s a lot of things to do or the opportunity to do very little. This list is filled with my favorites and if you are looking for more ask away in the comments and I will be happy to help.
