Money and time are almost always at odds. We all know this. You either have one or the other, but rarely both. It might seem unambitious for me to say this, but I really never wanted to get rich. I understood quickly that there’s an amount of money that affords a certain lifestyle, but beyond that, it’s all diminishing returns. I know a fair number of wealthy people, and they have good lives. It’s possible to have a positive relationship with wealth and money, but being rich doesn’t guarantee happiness. In all honesty, it feels like it presents as a nightmare a lot of the time. That is crazy because it’s a way of life that’s almost universally aspired to.
