I. Grabbing for Straws

Recently, I noted this post on X about loafers, and I had feelings. I was slightly dismayed by the responses. There are a few good answers, but most of what is offered up seems to range from the obscure to the absurd. I found myself with more questions than answers. More than ever it feels like uninformed people are totally comfortable making recommendations they aren’t qualified to make.
