MW As always a wonderful story. Acquiring a custom made garment that you love is the result of engaging almost all of your senses as you need to observe, listen and communicate. I recently had a similar experience with Dunhill in creating my go to blazer.

Mr. Style has that right. Life long possessions like this are investments with near and long term dividends, not the least of which are the compliments you will receive for those paying attention.

While I have nothing that's truly bespoke I do have a slew of clothing with stories that rise to mind every time I put on a t-shirt, or shoes. Not all the stories are especially out of the ordinary, and maybe it's my outlook as much as anything, but they are there for me. Yesterday, as I sat with my 6 week old grandson in my lap, looking to keep him content, I covered him with my favorite afghan I use at my chair and realized his great-great-grandmother made it.

I will share this with others to let them understand the lure of custom clothing, that it's about more than mere fashion. Thanks for this.
