Central Division Book Club
Did you know David and I have a podcast?!? In the 200+ episodes, we have talked about Maine 48 times, Delta Diamond 94 times and fishing 87 times. We have had three guests on the podcast and so far, but just one book club. We chose Light Years by James Salter, and I honestly enjoyed our conversation about the writer and the book. This book isn't for everyone (and it's a departure for me), but it feels good to read fiction and talk about it with David.

Wow that YouTube video took me back - used to play "pitch n putt" on the Links when I was at university in Edinburgh (not always sober). One of my 'fondest' memories from that time is being out all afternoon and into the evening watching Scotland play rugby, then walking back to my flat alone and drunk across the Links, falling over in the snow and lying thinking "this is quite peaceful" until I realised a girl I fancied lived just across the street and what if she found me there wasted in the snow?! Life can hang by a thread sometimes :-))
