Love this brand. As a die hard Masshole (who onced lived in New Bedford) and currently working for a Made in USA company this really resonates. Thanks for shining the light!
Inspired by what Warren is doing. Thanks for telling more of their story.
What’s everyone thinking on the colors of the flannels? Since this is a buy it for a long time type piece I want to get it right. I am drawn to Blue Hour but not sure how bright the more teal color is. Deepwater looks more flexible but I don’t wear much black and can’t tell if the darker color is navy or black.
Lovely read. I grew up in Warren VT - home to the ‘almost world famous’ Warren general store which sells food, home goods and clothing. I’d love to introduce them to Peter and his company
Also as a random plug - another brand that I believe manufactures in New England (though seems to do some sourcing in Europe) that I Love is Trumbull Rhodes. They make my favorite scarves. https://www.trumbullrhodes.com/about

What a pure-hearted reason to start a company. Good luck to Mr Holoien.

I'd vote Deepwater as more universal, though my favorite is the Peat.
Do I need another jacket? No, but I had to pull the trigger on that Barnard. Buy better, buy less.

Great read and sounds like a great brand. If only that Barnard shirt jacket had a proper collar! I’d be all over it.
