This may be my favorite ACL asterisk: “*I’ve never worn this outfit.”

Matador travel products are legit. Love the bar soap flat packs for gym and travel.

Will def have to swing by Junior’s asap.

The FT article made me wonder if my grandfather ever wore two watches to keep track of home time and local time on his business travels. He owned and ran a fishery, and visited Japan in the 60's and 70's.

I think you mentioned Juniors in a previous ACL column. Thanks so much. I’ve ordered a couple of sweaters and just ordered 3-4 of him MTO shirts. Looking forward to seeing the shop in person.

I didn't know double watching was a THING either. But I must admit I double watch, with a traditional watch on my left, and an AppleWatch on my right. The watch on my left is a thing of beauty, the AppleWatch on my right is a thing of info. In my case the info is focused on health, exercise and related stats sans the typical Apple alert nonsense. To my surprise the slimmed down focus of the AppleWatch has not been intrusive, just health info when I want it. Other than that, the AppleWatch is just a THING. On a Hawaii note, my brother lives in Maui; it is a long haul from Minneapolis. The trip is so long and mindnumbing that it takes 2 days just to unwind from the travel alone. If I lived in LA then I would make the journey more often. I can't even imagine what traveling from NYC or ATL would be like. Really enjoyed the article!

Yeah I understand the dilemma about which watch to wear. The Apple watch just offers so much functionality it's hard to go without once you get accustomed to them. We used to go to Hawaii from NYC and it is a long travel day — agree with that. It's a direct shot from LA which is much easier.
