I went to a small cocktail party the other day where no one really knew each other. It was sort of a work thing and people were asking me what I do for a living. I explained that in addition to some other things, I write a newsletter about men’s fashion. It was the easiest way to explain what I do, but it didn’t feel quite right.
This article alone is worth the price of admission imo. So refreshing to see shout outs for outfits like Ghiaia and Magill. You just can't go wrong with any of it.
Great shares and post, Michael. I too have struggled with "Fashion" ("blog" too :)) but accepted it for convenience and to save everyone some grief. I think what's surprised me most about what I really enjoy about this industry and world are the people you meet along the way and - as you mention - their view on value (not fashion!)
Love it, and totally agree, as far as all those European ones go. Unfortunately dont have as much exposure to the more US ones, but one that has been on my radar for a couple of years, is that Tensaw jacket. Love the orange contrasts. Maybe next time I'm in the US!!
Michael, are you a traditional or athletic golf shoe guy? I love a traditional golf shoe but appreciate the comfort of the more athletic style. Im going to try and bridge the gap with the new Footjoy Traditions Shield Tips. I’ll let you know what I think.
